“My oh my, now I know why everyone raves about this place. I came for the first time during Devour week and it was everything I dreamed of and more!.” — Kennedy O., via YELP

Incredible! I always seek out local, unique places when I travel. "Beholder" did not disappoint! The atmosphere is casual, artistic, and eclectic. The menu is equally so. Great spins on classic food items. Our group decided to enjoy a tasting and ordered ~10 items from the menu. Staff was friendly and informative. Chef was kind and delivered food personally from time to time. Slightly expensive compared to most casual restaurants, but worth it for special occasions, milestones, or just to treat yourself. Would definitely go back!

As an international traveler that seeks out exceptional food experiences, I can tell you this is a place worth your attention in Indianapolis. Will, our server, was both knowledgeable and engaging. He was resourceful to ensure that our meal was gluten free. We enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine paring. If you have an elevated palate and enjoy fantastic ambiance, I'd encourage you to make a reservation!

TL;DR: SO. GOOD. EAT. HERE. Ordered: - Oysters: delicious and fresh. I forget which ones but they were perfectly balanced between briny and sweet - Cabbage salad: wow this was a sleeper. The crispiness of the cabbage and the crunchiness of the toppings played so well together. - Steak and mash: Nothing spectacular but can't go wrong at all - McRib special: I loved that Beholder's take on the McRib was so heavy on onions and pickles. That said, if that's not your thing, maybe skip Gotta love a restaurant that serves nice plates but keeps you grounded with shot and a beer combos to remind you of your roots Will 100% be back to hit the tasting menu Cheers, Beholder!
